Why Concentric Wholeness Solutions?
I have worked with Concentric since 2016. My journey began with home visits, where I connected deeply with families. I also provided mentoring sessions at Baltimore Design School and Patterson Park Charter School. During my encounters in the field doing home visits we identified mental health barriers that students were facing, that hindered them from going to school. We noticed during our tutoring and mentoring sessions that students needed additional support after school. It was during these intimate interactions that the vision for Concentric Wholeness was born. I am deeply passionate about this work because I’ve seen the impact it can have on young lives.

I chose CWS because Mental health has always been a prevalent issue within the black community, especially for our youth. Having a figure that comes from similar areas that can help rehabilitate them and guide them in the right direction. So that they can gain a course of direction and guide for their lives.

I chose Concentric Wholeness Solutions because I want to be engaged in a community of passionate individuals that aim to go beyond the superficial barriers that will break the boundaries of psychiatric rehabilitation programs.

I provide mentoring and guidance for a number of young men who are enrolled in Baltimore City Schools. From my experiences in the work, I identified mental health barriers that students were facing, that hindered them from performing on a better level  at school. I am deeply passionate about this work because I believe it can help young people elevate their current situation and rise to a greater version of themselves.

I would like to impact children’s lives in another way besides education. With my own experiences as well as working with kids in and out of school during home visits, I’ve realized that young people go through things that can negatively affect them and they can benefit from additional support.

After starting with Concentric Educational Solutions back in 2022, I discovered that I truly enjoy working with and empowering the youth. I am interested in seeing the ways I can impact the youth beyond mentoring and tutoring.
